You will have to be available from the beginning of December to mid April (Dates are different for each job and will be confirmed at time of interview).

Full Time Vacancies
Chef
We are looking for a Chef . Applicants should be creative, hardworking, have lots of stamina and be capable of managing a seasonal kitchen team. You must have professional experience (5 years minimum) cooking for large numbers as well as a relevant qualification.
You will be producing great food whilst maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleaning standards. The hotel offer breakfast, lunch, evening meals and bar snacks. You will be prepared to work 5 days a week 39 hours. We will ask you to produce a 6-day menu plan with your application so that we can assess your creativity and ideas.
Successful applicants will possess a basic knowledge of kitchen French (as you will be dealing with local suppliers), must hold full clean driving licence and an EU passport (not a British passport)
Bar / Waiting staff
We are looking for confident, enthusiastic Bar and Waiting staff with plenty of personality . You will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. A good history of bar experience and a sound knowledge of bar working practises are needed. Daily bar duties include cash handling, restocking, maintaining high levels of cleanliness and helping to ensure the bars run smoothly and efficiently. You must have knowledge of computers, be well presented and have an outgoing personality.
You must have confident spoken French and preferably previous experience dealing with French clients in their native tongue.
You must hold an EU passport (not a British passport)
2023/2024 Vacancies
Bar / Waiting staff
We are looking for confident and enthusiastic bar and waiting staff with plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Applicants should be able to fill both roles easily on a nightly basis. You will be responsible within a team for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. A good history of bar experience is required and this should encompass cocktail making amongst all other bar practises. You should also be capable of holding down a section in our busy restaurant either serving hotel guests or the general public. Daily duties include cash handling, upselling on the bar or in the restaurant, maintaining high levels of cleanliness, stocking up, checking in hotel guests and helping ensure the Rhodos runs smoothly and efficiently.
You must have a knowledge of computers, be presentable and have an outgoing personality helping to keep the venue busy right up until close. You must have confident spoken French and previous experience in dealing with French customers in their native tongue would be an advantage.
Late night lounge DJ
We are looking for an in-house DJ with previous experience working in a late-night DJ bar. This unique position will require that you take to the decks for the after-dinner slot between 10pm and 2am. You’ll be aiming to keep clients in the venue after their dinner as well as bringing in a late evening crowd looking to party into the small hours. Although not a club, the bar has a 2am closure which allows us to whip up a late-night cocktail lounge vibe. An eclectic and changing set is essential for freshness and you must be approachable and professional.

This is a very important role as our reputation for high standards of cleanliness rests in your hands; it is about maintaining these standards throughout the season and working to deadlines as part of a team. You will be responsible for the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of our properties with attention to detail. We will be looking for people who are very hardworking and reliable. Duties include linen change, cleaning bedrooms, public areas, apartments and chalets. A basic knowledge of French would be an advantage but is not essential.

Sous Chefs
We are looking for Sous Chefs in our busy hotel. Applicants must have relevant experience (minimum 3 years) cooking for large numbers. You must be capable of filling the position of Head Chef on his / her nights off and maintaining the same high standards.

Comis Chefs / Plongeurs
General duties include washing up, keeping the kitchen clean and assisting with any food preparation under the guidance of the Head Chef. You will also be expected to help with the service of breakfast, lunch, evening meals and bar snacks. We will be looking for applicants who are very hardworking and reliable.

Drivers - Airport Transfers Full & Part Time.
For this position the main responsibility will be airport transfers for Morzine to Geneva . You will also be expected to drive guests to and from various locations within the resort and to take responsibility for vehicle maintenance and cleanliness. Candidates need to be responsible, conscientious and have excellent customer service skills. Experience of driving a minibus is essential. A basic knowledge of French would be an advantage. Applicants must hold D1 Category driver’s licence also a drivers CPC which allows you to drive a minibus and a clean driving licence with a minimum 5 years driving experience.
